Really enjoyed having dinner here! The restaurant looked new and clean, food was great, and service was prompt. Love that the soups were made fresh to order and smaller portions so that you didn't fill up on just one thing. Everything tasted very authentic and good quality!
This was a very nice and unique place to eat! Many of the all you can eat locations are of American or Chinese cuisines. I have never been to an all you can eat Vietnamese place. The pho was very rich in flavor and springy. The ca phe sua da was also quite sweet, which is what I prefer. I ate my weight in fish and dumplings though haha.
I didn't grow up eating DaNang foods like banh beo and mi quang but I was intrigued with this AYCE Viet food restaurant. My sister is a regular here so I tagged along. You walk into a brightly lit, industrial looking place with modern decor. You pay at the counter first before a server lets you into the dining area to seat you. There are booths as well as tables but enough to accommodate families. The servers were friendly and were on top of clearing off dishes. There's a noodle soup station where a staff member assembles your bowls with toppings and broth. You then move down to the veggie station to garnish your bowl. They even have notes on which veggie typically goes with which soup. How thoughtful for those not familiar with the cuisine! You can choose two noodle soups at a time. I really think this should be a two person station; one to assemble and one to pour the broth. The line can get backed up. I enjoyed the bun rieu and mi quang. My nieces like the pho and bun bo. I appreciate the smaller portions as they were just enough to satisfy yet not to the point where it fills you up. Next you have your finger foods and hot entrees. I enjoyed the ca ri ga (chicken curry), suon nuong ( grilled spare ribs) and tom cuon (fried shrimp rolls.) I didn't even get to tasting the banh beo or other DaNang specialties as I got full too fast. I did try the banh xeo, but it's not my favorite thing to eat in general. I will say, theirs was crispy. Next time, I'll have to try their canh chua, thit kho, and mi xao. I personally thought there were a good amount of dishes on the buffet, especially seeing as how I didn't even get to try them all. There's a self-serve drink station with several options including Vietnamese coffee, teas, and water. The glasses come in two sizes and the larger of the two is still too small for me. There's a dessert area with only a small selection. The che is good though and again, I appreciate the smaller portion. It was refreshing and just enough to end the meal on a sweet note. I do agree with other reviewers that fruit would be a good addition. If you walk in at opening time like we did, you're corralled in this small roped in area at the register waiting to pay. There were a few other parties piling in so it was very uncomfortable being so close. The tables are pretty close to each other as well. Now as for the restroom, it was so pretty and clean. Like, seriously, one of the nicest restroom I've been to at any Asian restaurant. The price of the meal is $20 per person but considering drinks are included, I don't think it's that bad. They are serving labor intensive dishes and I get to eat a variety which I love. Definitely will be back once the weather gets cooler.
AYCE vietnamese hidden gem. DFW is horrible at marketing and advertisement so unless you are actively exploring areas, you would NEVER come across gems like these. The food items are decent quality and small portioned so that you can try more should you desire. Their drinks are super sweet so you will need to water it down. Overall, a decent vietnamese place if youre craving soups and other dishes of the like. I Recommend getting some basil and mint leaves to even out the heavy flavors of the dishes they have.
